Ms Hazel’s Music publishes materials for teachers and parents by Hazel Ketchum. Included in this collection are lesson plans to accompany the popular children’s recordings Big as the World and Say Darlin Say. These collections of lessons engage students ages 2 - 7 in music and movement, singing, instrument playing and crafts. Special attention is given to story and listening activities. The Mountain School of Strings Violin Book 1 has games and activities for the first year violin/fiddle student. This book has a separate tunes section with folk and classical favorites.
Coming soon will be Hazel’s books for young guitarists, the Rangers Guitar Books 1 - 3. These books take students grades 3 - 5 step by step playing guitar with tablature, staff notation, chord charts in a variety of styles. These materials are downloadable and free for use in your classrooms.
